Common questions

Offbeat can't find my Plex server

Make sure your server is signed in to the same Plex account, is online, and has Remote Access enabled (or is on the same network as your phone). Offbeat discovers servers through your Plex account, just like other Plex apps.

My library is missing music

Offbeat syncs your library index when the app opens. Pull to refresh on the Library screen, or check that the music exists in the library you selected during setup (you can switch libraries in Settings).

Downloads are stuck or failing

Downloads run sequentially and retry automatically. Check that your phone can reach your server and that "Download on cellular" matches your situation (it's off by default — Wi-Fi only). Failed items can be retried from the Download Queue in Settings.

I see music I haven't downloaded and can't play it

That's Download View switched off — it shows your whole library. Flip the toggle at the top of the Library screen to see only what's on your device.
